Rookie's House!!!!!

The front with my brand new California Gold rock lawn. No watering no cutting - Designed by me and it came out fantastic!!!

You walk into the house and first see dining room and see through fireplace

Keep going to the living room on the right

Kitchen & eating area on the left

and . . . TADAA!!!!!!!!!!!

I present the new master bedroom

And onto the yard. The house had been empty for 9 months before I got it, and the entire lawn was dust, weeds and dead stuff.

Of course I was having none of that.

And behold

Rookie's Eden. Bark floor so again no grass to water, cut or weed. I love it.

Don't ask how long it took to plant 250 geraniums (on a steep hill), 3 apple trees, 4 fig trees,

1 orange, 1 peach, 10 Sumac, 3 camphor, 2 bottle, 3 brisbane box and 2 almond trees.

My veggie garden has asparagus, artichoke, cabbage, corn, raspberry, tomato and strawberry.

Garden update!! Here we are April 2010. I love my garden.

And here are my brand new solar panels, and burglar bars that I designed and installed myself.
